Singer in Action

I shot this photo in near-darkness as she was preparing to sing at the 10th-anniversary party of our company. It took place in Park City, Utah right at the closing night of the company’s annual meetup.

I hadn’t shot any concert with a DSLR before and I was pleasantly surprised what my camera could come up with that lens. Although I had a flashlight unit mounted on top of the camera that I tried to bounce off the ceiling, I think that did little as you can see in the photo here.

And most importantly, the person appearing in this photograph loved it. That’s an achievement, right? 🙂
