Small Superman, NY

I was taking a stroll on my first visit to New York when I came upon the Lego store. I can’t say that I haven’t been a fan of building stuff using Lego although I wasn’t very creative at it. Since I was in New York at an actual Lego store, I figured, why not take a look inside?

Like the rest of the tourists, I too was taking photographs randomly inside the store. I took about 20 photos inside, and as usual, forgot about them until about a few months later.

I took a look through the pictures that I had taken and I found this one. I thought it came out pretty great, and edited a bit to blur out the background. It was taken using a kit lens so the background was sharper than what you see below. It took a lot of work, especially because I was very new at this. In the end, I think it turned out pretty great.

To this day, it is the most popular photo that I’ve ever shot. 🙂 They say, spray and pray isn’t a good idea. I guess, when I’m not sure what to take a photo of, I better spray and pray. 😀

  1. Hi,
I liked your legos. They reminded me of the Lego Movie which I loved, the theme song (Everything is Awesome), Will Ferrell, all of it.
